International Men's Day was celebrated in India for the first time in 2007 by 'Save Indian Family', an organization fighting for men's rights.

The concept of 'International Men's Day' came forward with the efforts of Professor Thomas Yoster of the University of Missouri, USA.

International Men's Day was first celebrated on February 7, 1992 in the United States, Canada and Europe. However, since 1995, instead of February, the International Men's Day has been celebrated in the month of November.

It was first celebrated in India in 2007. The celebration was witnessed by 'Save Indian Family', an organization fighting for men's rights. After that, 'All India Men's Welfare Association' (All India Men's Welfare Association) demanded the government of India to start a special ministry for the development of men as well as women.

Often women express their feelings by talking or crying, but because men are taught that 'crying', 'giving up' is a weakness, there are many psychological pressures on them.

Due to this, there are serious effects on his health through many means. That is why it is becoming essential to know the suffering of men as well as the demand for equality between men and women in the society today.

International Men's Day was first celebrated on November 19 in 1998 in Trinidad and Tobago. Dr. Jerome Tilak Singh brought forward the concept of International Men's Day.

After this, International Men's Day is celebrated in more than 70 countries around the world. Even UNESCO has appreciated the importance of International Men's Day.
